01.12.2011 - Volcano Expedition

Mexican Volcano ExpeditionIn December 2011, several Wenger customers along with a mountaineering association in Mexico went on a volcano climbing expedition, approximately 70 km (43 mi) southeast of Mexico City. The first volcano that the group encounted was Popocatépetl, also known as "Popochowa" by the local population. It is an active volcano and, at 5,426 m (17,802 ft), the second highest peak in Mexico after the Pico de Orizaba (5,636 m/18,491 ft). The second volcano that they climbed was Iztaccíhuatl (AKA "Izta"), which is the third highest mountain in Mexico. Its name is Nahuatl for "White woman". Read More

Wenger welcomed the following guests at our headquarters in Delémont, Switzerland.

10.06.2010 - Hong Kong Watch Federation
On June 10th Wenger welcomed seventeen VIP visitors from the Hong Kong Watch Federation (HKWF) to their headquarters in Delémont, Switzerland. The executives enjoyed a very special tour of Wenger’s knife factory where they witnessed the extreme detail with which these world-famous icons are manufactured.  The group spent 6 days touring Switzerland visiting some of the top Swiss watch manufacturers. Their stop in Delémont, where Wenger was founded over 115 years ago, was a highlight of their trip. Located in Switzerland’s watch making region, it is populated by generations of skilled craftsman.
