In March 2009, the Knife Héritage had been rewarded during the international IWA Fair in Germany. The decision in the Collector Knives category was in favor of Wenger’s First Swiss Army / Knife Series Heritage 1893 from Wenger SA, Switzerland.

“This knife is a source of pleasure for the collector in every respect, as it testifies to the perfection of knife-making over many generations,” was the jury’s verdict. The craftsmanship and good material are also a source of pleasure. “This knife would still be a pleasure to collect in a 100 years’ time,” the jury is convinced, and would certainly like more series in this tradition.
