Punta Arenas is buzzing with the arrival of international teams and press for the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race, and work at Nomadas Outdoor Services is in full swing as new volunteers and interns arrive daily. Team EastWind from Japan arrived Sunday, followed shortly by three of the four members of Brazilian team Xingu.
Croatian team Ad Natura-Karibu arrived Wednesday night and was warmly greeted with a welcome dinner by a local Croatian family. More teams arrive today and tomorrow and will be busy with equipment checks and last-minute preparations.
